Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat waffle iron per the manufacturer's instructions. Grease with butter if necessary per instructions.
  2. Mix dry ingredients and set them aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour the waffle batter into the greased waffle iron and bake according to the waffle iron instructions.

Notes

For the crispiest waffles, make sure your waffle iron is thoroughly preheated. You can keep waffles warm in a 200°F oven while you finish cooking the rest.
