Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 32 oz jar of sauerkraut
  • 3 tablespoons good olive oil
  • 1 medium onion white or red, chopped fine
  • 1 medium carrot peeled and grated
  • 0.5 apple chopped
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley or dill for garnish

Method
 

  1. Drain juices from sauerkraut.
  2. Chop all vegetables.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil to your sauerkraut.
  4. Mix all ingredients together.
  5. Serve cold.

Notes
