  • 12 rice paper wrappers high-quality
  • 8 oz cream cheese full-fat
  • 8 oz crab meat drained if canned
  • 2 green onions chopped finely
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce low-sodium optional
Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Method
 

  1. Prepare your workstation with all ingredients and tools within reach.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  3. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Soak each rice paper wrapper for 10-15 seconds until pliable.
  4. Lay the soaked rice paper on a surface. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center and fold to seal.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange rangoons on it. Spray lightly with oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve with dipping sauce.

Notes

These rangoons are best served warm. Feel free to experiment with different dipping sauces to find your favorite pairing.
