Ingredients
  

Dip
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 0.5 cup salsa
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning plus more to taste
Toppings
  • 1.5 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced
  • 0.25 cup canned sliced black olives drained
  • 0.25 cup jalapeno sliced or diced
  • 0.33 cup canned corn drained
  • 0.33 cup canned black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and taco seasoning together in a mixing bowl. Add more taco seasoning to taste, up to 1 tablespoon more.
  2. Spread the dip base into a shallow dish, like a pie plate, in an even layer.
  3. Top the dip with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, jalapeno, corn, black beans, and cheese. Serve immediately with tortilla chips for dipping.

Notes

This dip can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Add the toppings just before serving to ensure freshness.
