Cheese Ball
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Add the chopped dried cranberries, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, shape the mixture into a ball.
  4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  5. Once chilled, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and roll it in the chopped pecans until fully coated.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette.
