Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 Strawberry cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • Chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts
  • sprinkles if desired

Method
 

  1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In large bowl, mix cake mix, oil, vanilla and eggs with spoon until dough forms.
  2. Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
  3. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls about 2 inches apart. Put in oven for 9-12 minutes or until they look dry on top and are just beginning to turn golden on the bottom.
  4. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate on one side or dip into chocolate (depending on how much chocolate flavor you like!) and sprinkle with valentine sprinkles, if desired.

Notes

These cookies are perfect for a festive occasion or when you want a quick and easy dessert. Feel free to customize with different sprinkles or add more chocolate for a richer flavor.
