- Preheat oven to 356°F (180°C).
- In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour, vanilla powder (or extract), and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
- Stir in the honey (or golden syrup) until evenly distributed.
- Divide the dough into 3 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a log and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Gently flatten each roll with your finger.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Immediately cut the warm cookies diagonally while still on the baking sheet.
- Let the cookies cool completely before serving.
