Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. Strawberries rinsed and dried with a paper towel
  • 12 oz. Orange Chocolate Melts Wilton is preferred
  • Wax Paper
  • Candy Squeeze Tube or zip-tight bag with a small snip in the corner

Equipment

  • Microwave-proof Bowl
  • Wax Paper
  • Candy Squeeze Tube

Method

  1. Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave-proof bowl for 1 minute, stir until smooth. If necessary, microwave for 30 more seconds and stir until smooth.
  2. Ensure strawberries are thoroughly dried using paper towels.
  3. Set out a piece of wax paper onto the work surface.
  4. Dip strawberries into the chocolate melts, spinning to coat completely. Hold over bowl to allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  5. Place coated strawberries on wax paper to dry.
  6. Fill squeeze tube with melted chocolate. Reheat chocolate if needed for 30 seconds, then pour into squeeze tube.
  7. Use the squeeze bottle to drizzle chocolate over strawberries, moving from top to bottom or vice versa.
  8. Let the strawberries air dry to harden.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to ensure the chocolate adheres properly. Customize the look by dipping strawberries only partially, revealing some of the red fruit, or coating them entirely.
