Ingredients

Cookies
  • 13.25 ounce yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 large eggs

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, creamy peanut butter, oil, and eggs. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  4. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and the cookies are lightly golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading and maintain cookie shape. Add a handful of chocolate chips or chopped peanuts into the dough for extra texture and flavor.
