Ingredients

Steak
  • 2 striploin steaks 1" thick
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • salt and pepper
Garlic Butter
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter room temperature
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Remove steak from the refrigerator and let come to room temperature (10-15 minutes). Trim fat around the edges if desired.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F (turn it on for 5-10 minutes).
  3. Rub the steaks with oil and season well with salt and pepper (or add your own seasoning as desired).
  4. Open the basket, put steaks in and cook for 10-14 minutes (10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium, and 14 minutes for medium-well), until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Meanwhile, stir together butter, garlic and parsley.
  6. Remove steaks from the air fryer and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with garlic butter.

Notes

For the best results, use steaks that are at least 1 inch thick. Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the steak and your desired level of doneness.
