Air Fryer Baked Potato

A quick and easy way to make perfectly baked potatoes using your air fryer. Great as a side dish or a meal on its own!

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 russet potatoes 300 grams each
  • 1.5 tablespoons oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F according to manufacturer directions if required.
  2. Wash and dry potatoes thoroughly.
  3. Rub all over with oil and season well with salt and pepper. Pierce with a fork once in the middle.
  4. Place in the basket of the air fryer, place the basket into the air fryer and cook for 40 minutes (a little less if your potatoes are smaller than mine, a little more if your potatoes are larger than mine).
  5. Check doneness by inserting a knife into the center of the potatoes — if it goes in and comes out easily, they are done. If it seems to get stuck, give them 5-10 more minutes.

Notes

Make sure to pierce the potatoes with a fork to allow steam to escape, preventing them from bursting in the air fryer. Adjust cooking time based on the size of your potatoes.
